Criteria hb / Super mom

Setting up criteria for a home business

We have all heard one time or another some presentation whether online or in person about working from home, having freedom, time and money. We've seen all the ads saying I'm making thousands of dollars working from home.

I've done some form of work from home for 17 years now I've done everything from Amway to Mary Kay to bookkeeping to etc, etc, etc... a couple years ago I decided to make a change. In order to do that I set up criteria on what I was looking for from a home business and I wasn't willing to compromise.

Here's my criteria and I recommend you do the same with your home business:

1. No fees to get started - that doesn't mean that I wasn't will to pay for product...see #2 for more information on this. I just didn't want to have to pay a start up fee or a yearly fee. They're suppose to pay me, not the other way around.

2. Low Cost, High quality, life changing product - with a 100% money back guarantee.

3. No buying more product just because I have reached another level in the company - a lot of companies say that once you get 10 or so people in then you have to order more product just to receive you new commission level. I wasn't willing to do this.

4. A compensation plan that was designed for the little guy / average person - most businesses are designed for the top 20%ers. I wanted a company that was for the average person could succeed while keeping the top 20%ers happy as well.

5. Little qualification for income - Companies sometimes require that your legs be even to get paid and you only get paid up to where you legs are even. So if you have one side that is working hard and doing well, you don't get paid on them because they aren't equal. I definitely didn't want this and it also goes back to not having to purchase more product when I get to a certain level. I also didn't want to have to find 10 people or more to start getting an income.

6. A company that is honest and has integrity - You see ads everywhere that say I'm making thousands of dollars, yet when you confront these people on how much they are actually making they aren't making anything...so then you ask to talk to their upline and you talk to them and they aren't making anything either. It made me discouraged before I knew that they weren't telling the truth, I kept thinking why can all of these people do this when I can't....Well come to find out they weren't making it either. I wanted to be with a company that was honest and wouldn't require me to be dishonest.

After I set up my criteria I set out investigating companies. And I looked for months. My process was basically look on Craig's list companies...go to the company websites....first look if they had a fee to sign up, then product cost, etc. As soon as they didn't meet one of my criteria, then I quit investigating them and moved on to the next one. After a couple of months I started getting discouraged thinking I would never find a company that met all of my criteria. I almost thought of re-evaluating my criteria, but then I decided that I wasn't willing to compromise. I pushed on spending less time looking, but still looking.

Finally after 3 months I found a company that fit all my criteria. I had the girl that posted the ad call me and give me information and I thought for sure that they would have things like I have to buy more product at each level, I was going to have to pay a fee somewhere along the line, etc...etc....etc Amazingly they didn't. There was no fees to get going and anyway they met all my criteria.

I joined because there was no risk at all, they had the 60 day 100% money back guarantee, so if I didn't like it I could get my money back. I tried the product and it changed my life (which also fit one of my criteria): tons more energy, no more headaches, no more depression, no more joint pain, I felt better than I had since I was 10 years old. It was great.

Now after 2 years of being with GBG, I can honestly say that there have been no gotcha's or gimmicks. I love the liquid vitamin and recently started taking their whey protein and love it because it gives me even more energy and what mom doesn't need more energy. It is designed for the average guy. Another thing that helped me was when I found out what GBG stood for: Guided By God....You see I had been praying to find something that I could do from my home that I could actually be successful at...so along with my criteria and my praying I found gbg and it has been an answer to my prayers. http://www.gbg4results.com/

We all have to find what works for us. So set up your criteria and don't stop until you find what works for you.

Super Mom?

I don't know about all of you, but I am not a super mom. I do what I can for my kids, but I also don't want to do everything for them.

My definition of a super mom is someone that's house is always spotless, mine never is; she bakes her own bread, I rarely if ever; she has cookies or now days some kind of healthy snack on the table for her kids, mine no where the fridge is and I'm sure there are left overs in there somewhere; now days a super mom probably works full time outside the home, I can't do it all work, home cleaned...heck I don't work full time and I still can't do it all; Super mom also would have all the kids and husbands clothes ironed and put away, my husband irons his own shirts and my kids sort and fold their own laundry; she would have wonderful meals cooked every night sitting on the table, I have my boys cook dinner once a week and they clean up after dinner as well.

What is your definition of super mom? Did I miss anything?

I feel like by me not being super mom my kids are learning how to do things by themselves. They have to not only do chores like clean bathrooms, vacuum and dust, etc...but they have one night where they have to plan, make and clean up after dinner. They have to decide what to make and if they don't know how to cook it then they need to find a recipe. The only thing I require is they have to serve at least 1 green or orange vegie with their dinner.

You'd be surprised what they come up with, they have come up with some really great dinners. My younger boys also have a night, but one of the older boys has to help them with their dinner or I help them if I'm home.

I don't have my kids whole day planned out. From the time they were small I have had time for them to do what they want to do. They have 2 hours that they can't watch tv, play video games, or whatever that they have to find something to do on their own...now this is when their little, once their bigger I just limit tv time and computer time and say go find something to do. I think kids now days don't have any creativity and don't know how to make decisions on their own...their to dependent on mom and dad find something for them to do. Let them make some choices with boundries of course, always boundries!!

K, that's my take on super moms. Are you a super mom?
